I was shocked a few years ago to learn that the United States has no official language. I have been asking friends and family and they weren't aware of this fact either. It is time to make it the official language and we need to act on this so we can ensure that our road signs remain English among other things. I can't imagine my daughters growing up in this country where we have different languages in different areas and resulting signage and confusion. How will the schools handle these issues if we don't make one consistent language? It's alarming.
